The fourth coin down is the 'Weak D' variety. To be sans D, the D must not be visable at 10X magnification. Of the 2 no D varieties, the 'Strong Reverse' is the money coin. Mike

The bottim one is a 1922 plain, a valuebal error.
But I don't know how it is formed. The weak dies may have something to do with it.

Kinda interesting how a coin noted for poor dies is graded. These are all PCGS MS63 RB/BN:

Bob, If you're going to do it, get some copper braid solder remover from an electronic supply. You heat it on the solder and it is more recieving of the solder than the host. Mike

I haven't tried it, but there are products on the market that are sold to hunters and target shooters as solvents that remove lead build-up from the gun barrels. I think that I'm going to pick some up and see if it removes lead solder from a coin. I'm sure that you'd have to soak a coin fror quite some time...even if it did work as advertised.
Guns and coins are two different types of lead (solder) deposits. With a gun, the lead is pressed into the barrel. With the coin, it is a chemical/mechanical bond. It is possible to remove the solder from a coin, but it takes knowledge and equipment. Mike

I know there have been many posts but I'd like to share what I use.
Loupe: B&L 5X
B&L 10X Coddington
Scale: Acculab Model 333 Electronic Digital
capacity-300g
graduation-0.1g
accuracy- +-0.1g
weighing mode- g., oz., ozt., dwt.
AC or 9volt w/adaptor
Mem., Tare function
Calbration weight
The loupes serve 99% of my needs. The scale is a pleasure to use. I've had it for approx. 10 years and it's still like new.
Hope this may aide you. Mike

Toning is the reaction between the target element and the surrounding elements.
