  1. I am now the proud owner of a one-of-a-kind piece of craftsmanship, compliments of billzach! Got my slip in the mail yesterday and went and picked it up (my hobo nickel contest prize) this morning. I've showed it off all day at work and have already had several offers. I told them :ninja: !!! It is a beautiful piece which will probably travel in my purse for a while so I can show it off. I AM SO THRILLED!!! THANK YOU!!!

  2. it's kitty-approved:

what it is (kinda hard to see because chelsea is in the way): a san francisco mint medal (which shows a staircase i've never seen and am not sure still exists), and a california fifty state quarters spoon!

    thanks, secret santa partner person!

:ninja: That kitty approval means a lot!

    ;)

  3. I actually love that one because of the steely gray color it turned.

;) Very nice coloring. :ninja: We were fighting over it like little kids...he was all like, "Since you bought it you can look at it anytime--I want to see it now, besides I didn't get any coins," and I was all like, "Let me see it--I bought it--remember you didn't want me to buy the coins I showed you," and the cat had to get his say in so he was all like, "Meow, meow, meow, meow!" ;) What a sideshow we are!

  4. ;) Found out who mah buddy was! ;)

  5. Made out like a bandit yesterday!

Lovely CHRISTMAS card from Tiff with tasty chocolate 'bullion' ;) and bunny nickel (my first--thanks!!!) One CHRISTMAS wish I have...that the postal workers be more gentle with the mail!!!

A pair of cool Euro coins and a beautiful card (I will translate later on Babelfish :ninja: ) from Harri--dank u! (unless, of course, that's not what I thought I just said and then I apologize in advance!)

And, last but certainly not least:

There once was a man from Nantucket

Who kept all his coins in a bucket.

He said, "Write a verse for my game,"

and further, "I'll draw out a name,"

Then a prize you will (with some luck) get!

Thanks for the excellent US 2-cent piece, Blackhawk! ;)
