  3. I'm wondering when they strike coins with these dies do they claim them as copies or originals?
  4. All of these made in ex-USSR by I would say gifted masters. But still shame on them Working on dies detalization level is incredible some dies wanna check your collection for fakes? 1902 37.5 rubles coin dies
  5. Camera and lens is the issue only when you would like to move from good pictures to very good pictures If you OK with just good pictures most of modern point-and-shooters can work You pictures are decent but not good yet, so it is not the camera
  6. everybody sees you trying to make people beleive that is genuine coin I suggest you don't waste your time, you can beleive whatever you want to There is no way a man with just a little experience in Russian coins will beleive in this bull Don't think you are the cleverest one
  7. Yeah, but if you look on Q&A it does not seem like genuine I mean if you going to sell such expensive thing you supposed to know at least something about that thing
  8. That's funny I found what you talking about, it is probably new protection because I don't remember such protection when I have registered I think it is a test for knowing Russian language, in this case I cannot help with registering because it will be violating of rules The banknote what you talking about is 500 rubles, so you need to type "500 rubles" below the picture but you need to type it in Russian
  9. the 1924 rouble costs a lot of money these days if such coin is at least in UNC You can found the 1924 rouble in F, VF or even XF for much less money IMHO here is an example - http://www.coins.su/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22291 sold for ~55 USD both variations - http://www.coins.su/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10727 sold for ~90 USD (for both) another one - http://www.coins.su/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11690 sold for 31 USD but the UNC one - http://www.coins.su/forum/viewtopic.php?t=...924&start=0 sold for ~250 USD
  10. There is there very good resource about awards - http://forum-su.com but unfortunately they have very strict registration procedure (where is no way you can pass it) You can try to ask your question in common section of this forum (w/o registration) - http://forum-su.com/obschie-i-raznye-temy-vf183.html Maybe somebody can help you there
  11. I put this fotos to show what the fake coins (you can find examples on ebay) were struck (not cast and not galvanized). That means such fakes are high quality and it could be very hard to distinguish them from genuine coins
  12. Yeah Carl Your opinion is very important for us Thanks for sharing BTW if you have fotos of quality made dies from California studio - please do not hesitate to share them with us
  13. I think it could be interesting for all of you guys http://www.coinpeople.com/index.php?showto...mp;#entry379320
