  1. Right Nationalist. I found this on Wikipedia ‘Franco led the Nationalists to victory in the civil war and went on to become the longest-ruling dictator in European history.’
  2. The coin grading agency, NGC offers melt value of gold, silver, platinum and palladium coins. Check under the tabs with “World”. This will help you get an estimation of what your coins are worth.
  3. These coins a.k.a coin-like piece of medallic art are pretty indeed. It’s interesting to turn a worn-out old coin into one with modern graffiti. Now that the coins have been hammered or modified, technically it’s no longer a coin an investor would look for. Though, the creative designs make it a collectible for art lovers. Good luck!!!
  4. Bid ended. Seems like you got a good amount for your coins. Guess, it’s because your coins were professionally graded. Do you have more of such antique coins?? If so, post the pictures here, would love to see them.

  11. The coin is a Peace Silver Dollar and it is believed that the design of Lady Liberty on the obverse is designed by Anthony de Francisci using his wife Teresa as a model for the personified head of Liberty.
  12. The coins look real interesting. I haven’t seen or heard much about it though.
  13. A-ha! The only coins I’m attracted to are the ones that are made in gold and silver. I’m not particular about its design, origin or other intricacies. I’m concerned only about its intrinsic value and its value that will be assured when I decide to sell it.

  15. Are you talking about Lincoln Cent 1909? I am very keen to possess a 1904 $20 Liberty coin and I found this link on the rare US coin that would be of great help.
  16. I am aware that most of these rolls are found in banks. Developing a good relationship with bank tellers and telling them what you actually want to accomplish will have them bring in customers to fetch an old collection of pennies.
  17. All the good tips to find coins are taken up here. None the less, if you ever consider getting adventurous about collecting coins, get yourself a metal detector and hunt for coins on the beaches and parks. You would be amazed at your findings.

  19. Thank you for raising this query. I’ve been racking my brains on it. And the closest answer I could gather on this is; Type A has 28 stripes at the edge and Type B has 29.
  20. Coins are stored in special cases made for them or little envelopes made to hold them. However you decide to store them, remember to not clean them as they lose their value when cleaned.
  21. Well, spotted the error, if it can be considered as one. But, I’m wondering if you need the authentication of these coins or do you need more information in terms of selling them to the right person who will evaluate the coins appropriately. Here is what the British mint has to say http://bit.ly/NulDja
