  2. Is anyone interested in a very nice, crisp old 10 Pound note in a condition I would say is close to uncirculated. I am no expert on banknotes so I can't grade perfectly but this looks very nice. You can't beat the old British paper money!.. Sign: J.J. Page 1970-1975. I don't know what these sell for , will quote book values from 12th Edition of "World Paper Money": VF=$35.00 UNC=$80.00 Please PM me if any interest.

  4. Bang on value for one of those I'd say, pay no more.. Mass was originally 56.7 grammes, originally the exact amount of copper with the equivalent worth Twopence Sterling.

  10. Does anyone have information on how this Vickers token may have been used? Age? Vickers was a company started in about 1838 in Sheffield as a steel foundry (Sheffield was probably the world's most famous city for steel and is nicknamed "The steel city") and become one of the world's greatest manufacturers of munitions and weaponry.

  18. He's not the only one to have one of those 'fake Krause' catalogues. Mine must be similar and it's called "World Coins" - produced by Krause but just to make a few more dollars I presume...
