  1. 5 Aussie dollars, 2011 (2012?) 20 dollars Canada, sadly not as nice as the plastic notes from our buddies down under
  2. Finish my state quarters set (only need USVI) and continue with the presidential dollars and national parks.
  3. Sadly no, I can never find those old half dollars.
  4. A 1941 Irish penny. Quite mutilated in the bottom
  5. I have the bronze coin but the features are not as good.
  6. Napoleon III. Just look at him and his beard. And the coin too, is silvery white, with brass bits sticking out on the edges. Possibly fake? This German Guy. He was some minister, finance or something but that face looks like a bulldog, with the droopy mouth and features.
  7. Something I got before but still I wanted to share, a spoon made from a Ecuador 5 sucres of 1944.
  8. This one a wanted to put for some time but only now did I get a better image, but it's still pretty bad.
  9. 10 Stotinki 1888. It's in terrible shape but I like that you can see the age on it.
  10. A 1939 Canadian dollar. The pictures don't do justice but it's really nice, it has some original luster, a nice patina but sadly some idiot's pawprints on the reverse.
  11. I'll try and put the coins that I find, buy, gifts etc in here, and on occasion a few other things as well.

    coinroll

That's an interesting collection! The only coin roll that I have is still with the coins.
  13. Ive seen it offered for about 150-200 dollars though, not 750.
  14. Your 960 reis coin is very nice. Sadly i don't have any coins that are overstruck, only notes with new values.
  15. A bad image, sorry ,but I don't have anice camera. It's a Japanese Mon coin of the 18th century
  16. On ebay here it is: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/THE-WORLDS-FIRST-COLLECTION-OF-COINS-STAMPS-BANKNOTES-OF-70-NATIONS-3-BINDER-/261312131647
  17. I was at a local stamp store and they had this interesting set of coins stamps and banknotes together in three albums. It's not the Franklin Mint set of the 1970s but is nice. Is is worth getting? I like some of the notes in there but I have no idea if this collection is worth keeping, or better off breaking up.
  18. Thanks, it went up more than $50 in 12 hours, so you were right.
  19. My oldest cent finds are 1938 (US) and 1936 (Canada), sadly with no dot. THough I did get free an 1851 large cent from US and 1859 Canadian large cent.
  20. I agree too. The previous coins, like the 2 pounds were much nicer. And for World War I, the Canadian commemorative is much nicer, showing the soldiers on their way to the war saying goodbye to their wife.
  21. Damn, it's gonna be a while before I can post. I have 1625 from Spain and 1190 from India as my most close coins.
  22. It says caisse nationale des monuments historique et des sites.
  23. Where I am I get on occasion American money, mostly state quarters but sadly no USVI, which is the only one that I need in my collection.
  24. They're getting Jane Austen on the 10 pound in a few years.
  25. Just a few nots I got recently (and been too lazy to post) 20 Swiss Francs 2000 100 riels Cambodia 1972 100 Frwnch francs 10 Francs Berlioz 100 Francs Corneille 1 Piastre Indochina 500 Francs La Paix 1941
