  1. Thanks, it's not the best of my 10fr Voltaire, but the only of 1970.
  2. No, this not is definately not real, especially with no picture to prove. It's not the first time that I saw that people posted that they found or were given a 100,000 dollar bill in the Philippines.
  3. But they don't compare to the French or colonial notes.
  4. 10fr 1970, France
  5. Yes, waaaaaaaay nicer than my Canadian notes.
  6. That's cool. I have been before to the Royal Canadian Mint in ottawa where they make the collector coins, the BEP in DC and saw them make the new $100 bills, and of museums I was at the Bank of Canada museum in Ottawa and the coin collection of the Banco de la Republica in Bogota, Colombia.
  7. The presidential dollars aren't too beautiful, but I like the native American dollars.
  8. How do you guys find all that. I only could a cent and a nickel.
  9. Probably nothing. In such condition it's not really too collectible. If it as uncirculated, it's worth $100 or more.
  10. I think some of the Carrington website money is based off real ones, and also the Kamberra use details of real money.
  11. Yes, I bought alot now, but when I was little I got many as presents, in change or in other countries.
  12. 2004. A Cyprus Pound
  13. 1 pound Cyprus 2004 100 Dinara Serbia, 1941 sadly the scanner doesn't bring all the colors out.
  14. Ok, 2005. I got this in Azerbaijan when I was there with my dad.
  15. Cool fantasy note! I have to find my 2005 notes.
  16. The second one especially is similar to the Swiss (and too Israel). Ok, if you want the links to the sites, here: http://dollarredesign.wordpress.com/ - Dollar redesign http://carrington.wikia.com/wiki/Banknotes_of_the_Brunanter_Thaler - a fictional country with nice bankntes designs http://banknoteworld.com/kamberra - More Kamberra money, some are very colorful
  17. There are some really nice ones in the internet. Form the Dollar redesign project: I think it's a fantasy country, but the notes remided me of the French: Another fictional money of a fictional place:
  18. 2009. The picture isn't great, but still counts.
  19. Ok I will start. A $220 note of 2012, Canada.
  20. Let's see how far back we can go with it. Rules: must be a banknote, notgeld, promissory note or paper currency and must have a date, either issue, series or in the serial number. I don't have 2013 (do 2014s exist yet?), so feel free anybody to post one.
  21. Perhaps we should start a thread! I can cover notes from 2011 to 1795.
  22. A picture would be good to see what it's about.
