Dave, that is an absolutely beautiful Deuce! I like it a whole lot, so don't diss it!
As for me, today I had a good haul of small head notes (technically I bought them, but for only face value!). I was working at the coin club show and took the top 2 from the cash box, a 1993 $20 and a 1995 $10, then I bought something from a dealer for $15, paid with a $20 and got the bottom one in change! A 1934 $5 bill!

Got this one today at the local show, and got the one below a few weeks back.

Love the clamshells framing the capitol!
Yeah, but didn't they all have that design until the big head notes?
-
Sweet FRBN Dave!

Ah, well a nice coin still I've never understood coins without denominations, especially sovereigns and half sovs which are almost the same diameter too.
Well for early bust halves the denomination is lettered on the edge "Fifty Cents or Half a Dollar"
-
Very cool! And as for mine, it's only a half dollar, but it's hard to tell on the draped bust since there is no denomination on the reverse!

Kornholio, are those the ones the mint was selling for face value? I got an e-mail on them, but forgot about them until they were gone! I usually buy my annual train coin from the Canadian mint. But, I did go to the post office today and picked up this package! It's been a while since I've gotten a new coin, but this is the first of 2 larger purchases that are coming (thank you tax refund! LOL):

Here are a few I recently got as gifts for helping a friend's grandfather sell some coins:
-
Nice! Does that have a small premium because of the off-center?
Probably a small premium for being off center and a much larger premium for being conservatively graded!
-
I thought everyone knew that rule on covering stamps with tape! Anyhow, the mailman didn't bring it, but I picked this one up at a local show last Saturday.

Sorry deadpoint, that just show my horrific photo skill, the coin is actually from 1912! I've actually recently been getting into foreign gold, mainly since I've been reading this book called "When Money Dies" which is about the hyperinflation in Germany after WWI, so it's interesting to see how the gold standard was constructed before this period. I am just starting and doing more of a type set, but these coins are just rediculously cheap! This one cost 106 euros, which is just about melt!

Got this one just today!

Got a 1910 penny in change today!

Yes, busties are perhaps the best wearing coin designs ever to come out of the mint! Plus I really like the album toning on the 1818/17!

Got these over the last week or so:

I found a 2002-F German 10-eurocent on the ground in the parking garage yesterday when I went to work!

Got a 1951-D penny in change 2 days ago, always fun to find a wheatie!

It's an O-103, pretty common.

Got this one last week in the mail:

Yes sir, all for face in one day! That duece reminds me of my 1907 woodchopper in terms of quality, a very nice note and it looks like it would beat the pants off my example of that note! Congrats on that one a stellar addition!
