Helvetia. About that Hungarian statue, it's huge, I think 30 meters high (100 foot), not the statue is to admire, but place where it is emplaced, near the Buda Citadel, where the visitor have a superb panorama of Budapest.

This is Romanian type of coin art (traditionally used by young girls in 19th and first half of 20'th century). The name is "Salba". I saw gold, silver, silver platted copper salbas made from French, Austrian, Turkish , Russian and Romanian coins, depends of period. These salba are part of Romanian traditional costume

I collect everything, except Roman coins. I'm focused into European coins.

I have decided not to buy any newer than 1918 coins this year. I've kept the decicion quite well, though I had to buy one brand new 10 Rouble..
My oldest coin is from 1749, but theoretically my collecting area expands to 1400's or If I find oil from my backyard, to 900's
If you find a 200 litres barrel of oil in your backyard, what you gonna buy?
I saw on ebay many crusades era coins cheap, and very eye catching. Hammered coins are just spectacular. I love the old letters!
