  1. New Guinea note is plastic, green (same green like notes from my pocket!). Voted for Tanzanian lion.
  2. A guy with hat... anyway... the first letter is the same...
  3. Coins are part of history, isn't? Ancient, Medieval and Modern times... so modern coins I consider all coins after Watt's steam machine...
  4. http://www.inkoze.de There go to Kataloge, then click on "Zum Weltmunzenkataloge von G. Schon. Prices are in German Marks, at level of 1998 ( IIRC), but simply divide by 2 and you'll find the actual value in Euro. I have two of these catalogues, and they are very useful (not so big like Krause).
  5. MS66. I saw coins from mint rolls in worst condition like this...
  6. VG8. Incused letters are fully readable
  7. MS 68 if I am the seller, MS 62 if I'm the buyer
  8. Bine ai (re)venit! Scrie-mi in PM lista cu ce tari mai cauti, poate te ajut cu ceva. Mircea
  9. It looks like another coin was pressed over it. Curiously, because the "50" isn't in relief...
  10. Indian head. Beautiful! About Liberty Statue, I prefer French coins...
  11. Twenty cents for me (BTW: the eagle has big balls???)
  12. Looks very similar to US transportation tokens. Any info??
  13. Many coins I've bought from coin shows, few of them from ebay, some from flea market...
  14. I have one "International Reply Coupon" with value 7 d. cut and 1 writed over it, issued in Commonwealth of Australia. Maybe you can help me with some details. Afternoon I'll make a scan of it...
  15. My city was part of Austro-Hungarian empire until 1918. Today, Serbian and Hungarian borders are at 60 km. Easy to find here old Austro-Hungarian, Serbian, German coins. Ironically, was very hard to find many of regular romanian coins issued ante 1914, than key dates of Hungarian or Austrian coins...
  16. Look closer at Peter's monogram! You'll see that it was doubled! And the 7 from year on the other side!
  17. Roman copper coins are often for sale for 1 to 5 $ here. Silver denars from 8 to 20.
  18. Nice coins, but I prefer the originals, even in F grade... I saw in past weeks and Romanian silver coins miniaturized by Franklin mint, at higher price than uncirculated originals... Idea isn't new, I know that exist ancient (100 years old) miniature coins of France, Germany, Austro-Hungary, Russia, Romania. Some people says these are toy coins, or tokens. I do not know...
