If you look thru the past pictures of Libby you might not promote a baby putting her in her mouth.
She was delicious.

Libby is on her way to Abish as we speak.

I am still alive and dying.
My liver has gone bad and I am waiting to get on the transplant list. I have been living in hospitals lately and have finally got back and found Libby! She is alive and well (not me, but that is another story) and she is in bad need of attention. And a good dusting off.
Where shall I send her to get out into the sun and back to the world of the living?

Libby is safe.
I have been in and out of the hospital for a few months now with Kidney Disease. So Libby hasn't gotten around all that much with me.
I can send her along to the next in line of they will send me their mailing address.
Sorry to be such a bad host for her.

I'll try not to let this happen to her at the gun range.

Got a F 1940S cent in change from Pat Catan's Craft store. The lady would not look through the drawer to see if there were any more I could get though

This is the '39 DDR Jeff.
Thanks... that DDR is a beauty!

Bump.
Just got this guy in change. My questions are:
What are the diagnostics for the 1938 rev vs the 1940 rev?
What are the diagnostics for the 1939 Doubled Monticello?

No, a nice VG or F Morgan is the best circulated numismatic piece ever. But for current circulating coins, none of them are great. Worn Franklins of days gone by were nice looking as well as Liberty Nickels. Maybe the Jefferson is OK, but nothing like our turn of the 20th century coinage for graceful aging.

I have 3 machines I can check on a weekly basis. Nothing lately either.

Just want to pass along this information for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.

I tried to be sneaky the other day. The bottoms of the reject bins are hard metal so when the reject coins hit bottom the make a loud racket and folks look down to notice the hitherto fore unnoticed reject bin.
I put a square piece of felt on the bottom of my local Coinstar machine reject bin the other day. When I checked back that evening not only were there no coins but the felt was taken as well

It is only a partially filled die, so when you rotate the coin the "1" becomes apparent at different angles.

If you have a loop just shoot the pic through the loop:
