  1. Moscow Mint (MM), I'd say, even without seeing the other side, judging from the style and color. Looks normal.
  2. Yes, but it's free shipping
  3. Thank you for your nice comments Peter! Best regards, Steve

  5. I guess this topic has 'expired' now. Anyway, I continue to add coins to the site. The ones that sell are still there, mainly as a price and image reference. Contact me if you have any questions. Thanks
  6. Thank you for the nice comments! Also, your suggestion is a good one and I've added a small 'About Us' page.
  7. Hi everybody. http://www.russiancoin.com is my website where I'm starting to sell mainly duplicates of Russian Coins in my collection. There's not too much there at the moment but I plan to keep adding. The business scope may expand in the future to allow others to list their russian coins for sale but that will take some thought (suggestions welcome). Best, Steve
  8. I checked 302 images of the 1800EM 2K and don't see an overdate as nice as yours. I *do* see a few that show the 8/7 (an example from Efimok 64/ May 2009 is attached) but none with a clear final 0/8 or 0/9
  9. Pedantic note: It's a Denga (or at least a Novodel of a Denga)
  10. Interesting! Do our counter-stamp experts here have any opinions?
  11. Your question, as put, makes little sense to me. If you're asking as a collector, then why do you need to be advised on what to collect? If you like them collect them! What does it mean 'worth my time'
  12. ...and the spaces at the base of the obverse 'H' and 'M' seem to filled somewhat....
  13. Hmm...something doesn't quite feel right. There's all that schmutz across the eagles, and the lettering and crowns just don't seem as sharp as they should. I don't know. Anybody else?
  14. Hi One-Kuna. No I don't think you're wrong. I wouldn't interpret my 'scarce' (R on Bitkin's scale) too literally. It could well be R1...I don't know at this point. That said, we have seen 5 now quite easily and assuming they're all genuine it's an interesting question as to how to reconcile that with the findings of our respected colleagues Mr Adrianov and Bitkin. Best, Steve
  15. Well this brings up a good point. While I agree that there are probably quite a few of these to be found if we look, we have to be somewhat careful. The problem is we've now introduced a selection bias by actually looking for this exact variety. Yes we found 3 more but to be fair we should really ask for people to look for every possible variety of 1810EM and count how many One Kunas show up. My 1810EM data set was reasonably unbiased. It was built before we started looking for this variety; when I did look I found *roughly* 1 example in a 100 coins. Scarce in my opinion. I suspect that's actually a reasonable ratio. So I would still say they're *relatively* scarce, though perhaps not absolutely scarce. Best, Steve
  16. You're very welcome If you want to do/publish your own research before my Alexender I studies are done I can send you a CD with the 1810EM 2K images. Best, Steve
  17. Conros363 Lot 474, 15,300 RUB Both look like the large crowns to me. Steve
  18. Very scarce! Out of 290 1810EM 2K, I've only seen 2 other examples, both in Russia. Steve
