Hmm... I don't see it :-/
-
How many years did it cover?
-
Definitely an experiment someone did after it left the mint. Cool find!
-
Very nice find!

I haven't seen a wheat in change in probably a decade at this point. Maybe a little less.

Nice find. How is the toning in hand?

Welcome to CoinPeople! See if your coin has any of the distinguishing characteristics of these coins: http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php

Sam, I think the former is correct. Typically you can see the die crack progress across the coins. Small in the first coin and large in the last coin before they notice it and switch out the cracked die.
As such, you *could* find another coin with an earlier stage of this same crack, but what are the chances you or anyone finds it?
But this die crack looks quite severe. You'd think we'd see other ones out there!
It's definitely a keeper. But I think you should go to a dealer and see what they think.

Sunday, February 11, 2018 - Indian Head gold pieces
I've always been captivated by this series. I don't own a single Indian Head gold coin, but they are simply iconic to me. I truly don't have words to describe it.
Does anyone out there have one of these?

I've been on this site for 12 years and that's the first time I've seen Roman denominations explained. Thank you!

Look who is selling on eBay!

What is the text below the eagle on the Nixon reverse?
-
It is a very nice lot!

I'm still not sold that it's a die crack. There should be at least a few other coins out there like it (but not guaranteed). And the cracks don't look like cracks.
But it is the leading option though.

Very cool! I've never seen that. Maybe you should give it a go and tell us how it is

Welcome to CoinPeople! I personally can't answer your question but I'm sure someone here can!
