  1. Someone deposited $84 in Ike Dollars today at the bank. I found about 3 "blue" (rainbow finished) dollars, but they were all circulated. Are they worth hanging on to?
  2. Actually in OK, but I get tons of the stuff at the bank.
  3. The bank actually didn't know about it. If it sticks to the magnet in the coin machine, they just throw it away. Sorry. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
  4. This is my favorite coin (in my collection). Several times, people have tried to low ball me out of it. Being a novice, I figured I should ask for help. Can someone tell me a bit about it?
  5. This dropped into the US Half Dollar bag at the bank where I work. C 1860 Nova Scotia Half Cent.
  6. I have a handful (about $10) of current Canadian coinage. What can I do with it? Do collectors look for it? Would I be better off exchanging it for USD?
  7. I've got a 1938 Canadian nickel in my collection that appears to be in good condition (for a coins that's 73 years old). Are these desirable or just worth a nickel?
  8. I have a circa 1860 Nova Scotia half cent. Don't really know much about it. Can anyone tell me about it? The back looks either corroded or really dirty, also. I've attached a pic.
  9. does this happen a lot? is there still the odd market for them? I like the liberty coins (fav is a 1925 standing liberty quarter I found at work!), but if it's a fake I don't have any interest in it.
  10. My mother-in-law found a $500 Gold note from 1882 with Lincoln on the front and asked me about it. The problem is it's not colored right and has no serial number. Can someone help me with this?
  11. I found a Standing Liberty Qtr at work (teller) about 4 years ago. it's definitely ciculated but you can still see the stars on the front. I've had several offers to buy it, but i'm attached to it. Should I be so attached? is there anything special about a 1925 standing lib qtr?
  12. Found a 1797 trade dollar at the bank the other day. Problem is that it's magnetic, and I thought that the trade dollars weren't made until the 1800s. Any insight?
  13. Hello all. I'm an amateur numismatist interested in just about all coins! A friend told me about this site, so I thought i'd give it a try!
