  1. That's the wierdest coin I've ever seen. What is that thing?
  2. Here is one I have from my time in Korea.
  3. I broke down about a month ago and bought both the 79 and 81. But it cost me. The show was about an hours drive in Cincinatti. The dealer had five 79s and looked throug them and pick what I thought was the best. But when I got home I notice that the 79 was really a 80. Had a clear S though. So I had to do the 2 hours drive to exchange it. Thought the dealer might give me a hard time since I had already left the show. But he exchanged it without question.
  4. Wow, this is one I never thought of. I always thought guns were used to get money. Never thought of putting guns on money. Guess I'll have to look into this one.
  5. Great idea, I gotta get busy and get 25 post so I can play.
  6. Went by my bank today and they had rolls of quartes from Minnesota, Maine, Wisconsin, Florida, Alabama and Iowa. I figured I couldn't lose, so I bought em. All P mint except for the Iowa. Don't know where they got D mint Iowas. Didn't realize they were Ds until I got home. I wierd thing I notice today though. We almost always get P mint coins here in Ohio. But I don't have any P mint Ohio quarters from circulation. Only D mints. Go figure.
  7. where can I get one of those?
  8. Nothing today but I did get a really nice 1921 MS morgan earlier this week. Thanks Blackhawk
  9. Ya mean there are some Morgans that have gone down in price in the last forty years? I guess it had somthing to do with the Gov releasing a bunch back in the early 60s?

  12. LOL, I do believe you have been there. I'm at step 2 now. Don't know if I'll make it to step 5. Maybe if I find something early in the hunt it will motivate me.
  13. I have a fire proof safe for my guns and ammo. So I just made room for my coins in it. If it ever gets hot enough in there for the ammo to go off I'll have a bunch of holey coins.
  14. Well, I've decided it's time to look through some of those pennies I've been hoarding all these years. I look through about 500 yesterday and today and found 4 '98 wide AMs. My guess is about 20,000 of em all memorials saved by me over the past 25 years. I hate spending those little buggers. I know to look for: 98-00 wide AM 92D close AM 95 double die obv 83 double die rev 72 double die obv 70S small date Anything else I should be looking for? Here's a look if I can get this right:
  15. US one dollar coins and anything else I can get cheep. Do have a cent, nickel and state quarter sets started. But mostly dollars.
  16. So are these considered uncirculated business stikes or do we have to get those for a bank roll now and these will create a new hole to fill in all those future coin albums.
  17. 2002-S Indiana quarter proof. The only proof state quarter I own.
