What did Dock find with his detector contest

Recommended Posts

During the Calander year 2007 I recovered exactly 2637 coins with my detector.

Of that total 63 were Foriegn(non-US)

That leaves 2574 coins with a face value of $191.05. correction $191.23

Here's the contest part....

How many of each coin did I find?

Cent

Nickel

Dime

Quarter

Half dollar

dollar

You guess a number for each denomination, I will respond with, Too high, too low or correct. First to get all the numbers correct wins.

You can guess again when the time stamp on your last guess is 12 hours old. So, If you guess today at 6pm you can guess again at 6 am, or after, tomorrow. It dosen't matter If I responded to the first guess but I will try to check in often to respond so you have the info for your next guess.

The prize to be determined.

Good luck

Here it goes! Not sure if it's right myself, but it's the first answer I came up with and I know with this answer it should be different than everyone else's. :ninja:

Cent = 1400

Nickel = 401

Dime = 460

Quarter = 252

Half dollar = 26

dollar = 35

That leaves 2574 coins with a face value of $191.05.

Quarter = 252 low

Half dollar = 26 high

dollar = 35 high

That leaves 2574 coins with a face value of $191.05.

I hate it when I screw up. :ninja:

Its not too bad. I forgot to add 18 wheat cents to the cash total so its $191.23

All my replies are still correct so I think everyone is still on equal ground.

But still 2574 coins?

The first answer I came up with based off of the "high" and "low" clues you left before.
