Wetterstrom, Publisher and Editor of THE CELATOR, the Journal of Ancient and Medieval Coinage. Kerry will discuss the coinage of Nektanebo II of Egypt and other Pharaos. Nektanebo reigned c. 359-343 BCE, before Alexander the Great. The image above is a gold stater struck during his reign. (Ref: SNG Cop. VIII # 1.) Be sure to join us for this event! TREASURER'S REPORT: Reminder that annual dues can be paid to our Treasurer. COIN CLUB AUCTION! A special Coin Club Auction will be held at this meeting. You are invited to join the group in selling or buying ancient Coins! Look through your collection & bring one or more along! WELCOME: A warm welcome to the Club! We normally meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm In Immanuel Lutheran Church, 104 Snelling Ave in St. Paul, MN Coffee and snacks are Provided. Members are asked for $1.00 donation to cover room rent. Annual dues are payable In January. Guests and the curious are exempt from any fees until they become "hooked" On the Club.
