Copper-nickel coin –

1 Rouble face value

(diameter - 32.00 mm).

 

Mintage:

2 000 pcs

 

Placed in circulation on November 16, 2004.

 

Obverse designer: S.P.Zaskevich (Belarus).

Reverse designer: S.P.Zaskevich (Belarus).

Minted by: Joint-Stock Company State Mint, Warsaw, Poland. The coins areround. The rim is raised on both sides of the coin. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

 

The obverse:

within the circular geometric ornament - the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; beneath - year of issue, silver coin - alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim - at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА-БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper-nickel coin.

 

The reverse:

in the center - the relief effigy of the Church of the Radziwills’ Castle in Neswizh; at the top – inscriptions "ПОМНIКI АРХIТЭКТУРЫ БЕЛАРУСI" (BELARUSIAN ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS) and «ХVI-XVII»; at the bottom - "ЗАМАК РАДЗІВІЛАЎ" (RADZIWILLS’ CASTLE) and «НЯСВІЖ» (NESWIZH).

 

copper-nickel coins are of the "proof-like" quality.
