Art
I was soooo torn on this one. I finally went with the Half because if someone offered them to me but I had to pick one, it would be the half.

I finally went with the Half because if someone offered them to me but I had to pick one, it would be the half. Good way of choosing. This one is hard since it's a bust versus bust and then an eagle versus a shield with a bear. I think I'd take the gold

bill
I've always had a soft spot for the halves. I cataloged an old collection years ago for a friend to help it sell. I learned Overton inside and out given the variety in the collection and fell in love with the 1824 over multiple dates. I just couldn't afford the collection, but I enjoyed them for a couple of months. I still have a soft spot for the bust half. Its got my vote. tabbs
Again, one of those cases where I would prefer to have several votes. Hmm ... Wilhelmina. (What I find strange though is that on one side of that coin the inscription is right along the edge while on the other side it keeps a certain distance.) Sir Sisu
The goldengulden. Not that I would not want one for a type , I just have never been that fascinated with the US "Bust" design.
