Guest Stujoe
Love them both! But I love the Naples a little more.

jlueke
The Naples medal is very nice but it is just a copy of a previous design. The Latvia obverse is really cool. The hard angles and straight lines deliver a very cool representation of the king.

bill
Both are nice, but I go with the high relief.
tabbs
Karoline. The woman's head looks better than the warrior's head. (I wonder whether the Lithuanian/English medal was modeled after some previously issued piece. The Mindaugas coin, issued almost 30 years later, looks strikingly similar.) Sir Sisu
I am still liking the Lithuanian piece. (I wonder whether the Lithuanian/English medal was modeled after some previously issued piece. The Mindaugas coin, issued almost 30 years later, looks strikingly similar.) Christian Not sure, but I do know that the coin was modeled after the medal. I came across a site sometime ago when I was looking to buy the commemorative coin which explained the medal, but I have not been able to find it since.
