gxseries Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 Just checked on xe.com/ucc and boy it seems real trouble. 1 EUR = 1.17658 AZN So a 2 Euro coin should be around 2.38 AZN, but it is just 50 qapik??? The Turkish 1 lira coin also resembles a €2 piece and is more readily available. And then, it's basically only the simple vending machines that sometimes cannot keep originals and doppelgangers apart. Better machines check for electric conductivity, magnetism and even images on coins. If at all, it will be humans who mix the qapiks and cents up ...
