You will be relieved to know then that i have no interest in Portuguese coins... except p'rhaps for 1780s ones with monarch portraits on them if such coins exist (probably gold only i'm thinking). :ninja:

Yes, only gold, but if you got 600 "quids" laying around:

I can't come up with ten areas to collect... But let's try:

1. Coins and banknotes of the Russian Empire until 1917

2. ?

3. ?

4. ?

5. ?

6. ?

7. ?

8. ?

9. ?

10. Other coins with beautiful designs or interesting history. (USSR, USA, UK, Germany, China, etc.) This is the one I should quit completely and sell the coins.

Number one takes practically all the resources I have for coin collecting, area is quite large as you can imagine. And it's my favourite, ofcourse.

I am a bad Finn, I collect Russian coins and there's a little (or not so little actually) monarchist in me ;)

1) All Italian States from Napoleonic invasion to 1870, with preference for Papal Staes, Kingdom of Naples and Two Sicilies, Napoleon king of Italy.

2) Kingdom of Italy - V. Emmanuel III

I should like to begin a collection of Napoleonic medals, but I'm seeing that it is a hard job!

The reason of my new interest for Napoleonic medals is just the wonderful Elverno's collection!
