josie
Four me Emilio Aguinaldo is the first politician thats what I encounter in the past or some documentary program says. Former general fought the spaniards and the americans. Same catagory as Andres Bonfacion this two leader are in the front of the war for the independence of the Philippines, well problem arise when two leaders wants to be recognized as the head of the nation. Thier is still issue concerning the death of Andres Bonifacio on who is responsible for it. a good man branded by some as illiterate for a clerk in his time and records show that he has a good handwriting.and thier movement somewhat funded the education of our natioonal hero Jose Rizal and the argument that Andres he is not educated he should not lead the nation, then thier forces go seperate ways,After the death of Bonifacio the nation was born and the first president is Emilio. Even today the body of Andres is not yet recovered in one of the mountains in luzon still buried as other bitter history of the Philippines they just dont want to talk about it. And the cycle of this story repeat itself for more than a century in the country called Philippines.

konero45
what years are the aguinaldo coins? 5-peso aguinaldo coins started 1995 up to 2005 , then to my surprised 2009 series surfaced out without issuance of 2006,2007 and 2008. Hard to find dates are 1999 and 2000. I'ved asked central bank of the philippines regarding the three dates thru email but to no avail, no response. I do not know if this is a way of producing key dates for them to have in their favor within a couple of decades?
