Boulevardier
Hi, I'm looking for a little advice. In Britain there has been a lot of recent news coverage about the new Bank of England £5 polymer banknotes. In Scotland we've had these notes for a little longer. I recently withdrew some money from a ATM and got 10 Royal Bank of Scotland polymer £5 notes. They are in sequence and in very good condition. The serial numbers are nothing special alone but I remember reading some collectors like multiple notes in sequence. The numbers are AV545183 to AV545192. I was wondering if you would think these would be of any interest to anyone, or if I've maybe read a little too much into this recent "goldrush". Thanks in advance for any and all advice. thedeadpoint
Welcome to Coinpeople. Great question. I'm not an expert, but I'd wager they only have a little value over their face value. Hopefully someone else can give an answer.
