Jokerman
I just picked up a small english medal concerning the Battle of Copenhagen in 1801. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Copenhagen_(1801) It is in a fantastic condition. Does anybody has a reference to this medal? I guess it it listed in the three volume catalogue of Bramsen, but unfortunately I only have the last two volumes which covers the period from 1810 and forward. bagerap
British Historical Medals by Lawrence Brown, BHM 511a
constanius
The medal was issued in 1805, together with BHM#s 437(St. Vincent), 454(Aboukir) & 591(Trafalgar) in a small silver box, and sold individually as well. BHM511 and the others in the set, AR R; AE gilt R; Br N; Pr R. Boxed set very rare.
Jokerman
Thanks! I just found pictures of the box: http://www.onlinegalleries.com/art-and-antiques/detail/admiral-lord-nelson-an-exceptionally-rare-george-iii-nelson-counter-box-and-counters-the-box-made-in-birmingham-in-1805-by-samuel-pemberton/250097 And I also picked up the medal commemorating Aboukir (pics will follow). Think I also need to pick up my own copy of BHM soon (at least volume I).

Jokerman
I guess the second half of the set will take considerably more time.
