Sharp horse! Probably authentic but I'd avoid it, I don't like the dullness. Might be a detector find.

Thank you both for answering! It appear that this is a fake coin, as I am told by many on Russian forum, although, it was hard to believe. The picture fooled me for sure :sorry: , as it displays all attributes on Moscow mint so well... I still have hard time to believe it, though the opinion of others was expressed pretty strongly.

Thank you for sharing. Fakes are getting terribly dangerous. A closer look however reveals some oddities:-

the coin appears to be an overstrike. The dies of the 2 kopek host coin should be arranged in medal alignment. But here they look like turned by 90 degrees. The "17" under the horse looks a bit too slanted (?)

It is not expensive to used original coin for struck and hide by chemical/corrosion identical for original coin details ,I believe it call aging

 

"старение" and it is why Sigi' first opinion was "detector find"...

 

Anyway it is not the best fake I see before and it is easy to identified .
