Is there in the internet any info in detail about that? I cant find info in details. I mean about history, used metals and all about the coins.

Do you know about this site?

Монетный двор

I'm sure there are lots more, but that is the first one I thought of.

Thanks.

Nice catalog, but i dont understand nothing about the edges of the coins.

Is there any practice of writing a text on the coin`s edges?
I had once one platinium russian coin. Cant remember clearly, but probaly it were from Nikolai I period.

And on it edge was writen "gold+platinium+silver", in russian language ofc.

The article is "The Minting of Platinum Roubles" by Christoph J. Raub. You will find that with Google. I cannot seem to post the link.

I found the study.

Probably will never find that if my coins were genuine or fake. And thats make sence...

Btw do u have a pictures of ur flase coin? Did it had the same edge subsription like the my ex coin?

Тhe story about the coin is ironical...

I am from Bulgariam until 1989y Bulgaria was in the USSR area of influence, very close relationс, closed geopolitical system,

almost closed visible trade and more with that meaning.
I acquired the coin maybe in 1990y, was just a kid, about 12y old, i didnt know nothing about the coins, or professional collecting, just then were very popular between the kids, to change everything, coins, cartoons, magazines.
So i acquired the coin from another kid vs coins, and later changed it for a lot of magazines.
"Easy come, easy go" ...
