smilenjess
So, I recently found a Canadian loonie with what I believe to be a mint made error. It appears as though after the loonie was made, it was put through the machine that makes toonies. I wonder if anyone might know anything about it, or know what it's value might be? Thanks for any help!
thedeadpoint
Huh. Interesting. Not knowing what the unaltered design looks like, I don't know. But there are folks here who can answer that question!
Corina
better close up pics would help of the coin so we can tell what you are talking about
ccg
Welcome! Unfortunately this is not a mint error. It's a regular loonie, where sometime after leaving the mint, someone had machined it. (i.e. mechanically ground off a portion of the coin)
