Interesting - I was expecting a 1d but it will be a 1p.

Were you referring to the crown (25p) perhaps? I can't think of a (British) 20p for the '82 wedding.

the wedding was in 1981 not 82

the crown (25 pence) was the wedding coin, the 20 pence silver coin was a special issue

 

But I'm not seeing the connection between the silver 1982 20p and Diana... (unless you're not referring to a British issue but something else)

Oh such a sweet gesture from the Royal Mint :) After the Royal Heir’s birth, guess world mints will mint special coins marking this event just as they did for the Royal Wedding. I’m excited to see what the Canadian Mint comes up with to commemorate this occasion……
