Scottishmoney
About thirteen years ago my wife and I were planning a trip over to Niagara Falls with our niece and we asked our older neighbour in her mid 80s to watch our place for us and check in on the cats. One evening just before our trip she came over with a small bag of coins that she wanted us to spend over there - there were about half a dozen large cents up to 1919, and several other Edward VII and George V era coins! She had been to Canada when she was younger and never got a chance to go back and spend those coins. I handed them back to her and explained they were now worth a lot more than face value. She passed away about a year after that and I have no idea what her family did with the coins.
