Another from my collection.

You will find this piece with multiple crack recorded on the coin. I can only guess the mold minting this coin must have gone through a lot of press.

Straits Settlements Q Victoria

Year : 1899
Composition : Silver .800 fine
Mintage : 136,000
Graded : VF+ ~ XF

A very desirable copy which I gotten a while back via auctions. These coins are getting relatively hard to find in auctions now a days. Not many collectors are selling them off I guess.

Wow! This is a 1920 "Dot" it's a rare coin and probably in XF condition. Looks harshly cleaned with scratches, but none the less as said, a rare coin.

You should have the coin cleaned of the verdigris, preserved and slab by profession like NGC. Do have it done.

Great coin. Where did you get from?

Dear Sidney, I acquire this collection from a retired collector which was introduce to me by another collector friend But all this coins are either stain with verdigris or they are cleaned and polished. Someday when I have time I intend to bring all my coins to Mavin in Singapore for them to have a look and let them decide those that can be graded.

Thanks ART, will be sending it for certification in about 2 weeks time, and at the same time to collect some coins been sent earlier.

Dear Sidney, Which grading you use NGC or PCGS? Do you courier direct to USA or do you go thru Singapore/ Hong Kong? and how long for PCGS/ NGC to return the coin after grading? thanks
