gxseries
Got some interesting coins from Chile. This is a few of them: Struck in medal alignment. All the other coins that I have are struck in coin alignment. Offstruck Double struck Lastly the most unusual error - Die that is used to strike a finger that feeds planchets Quite a nifty lot. Art1.2
Nice group of errors. Where did you find them?
ccg
Interesting! The current edition of Canadian Coin News just happens to also have an article on errors that includes several pics of coin feeders that have been struck, though one would wonder how they left the mint... gxseries
You have to wonder if the seller knew someone in the mint or he used to work in the mint. Regardless, interesting error coins. I don't think I'll own another feeder error like this any time soon.
