Art
GROUP C jtryka's 2009 Ultra High Relief Saint-Gaudens double eagle Art's 1912 Half Sovereign This little beauty came into my collection as part of a trade I made years ago with Syl. It's the only gold coin in my collection and a design that I truly enjoy GROUP D elverno's 1912 20 Coruna, Austria
Art
I voted for my 1/2 sovereign -- ok in real life the HighRelief Saint is a much more desireable coin but that 1/2 has great historic value for me.

ikaros
No vote. I can NOT choose between that half sov and that UHR Saint. You may as well ask me whether I prefer my left kidney or my right one.
jtryka
Well it looks like you're about to lose your high relief kidney...
ikaros
Well it looks like you're about to lose your high relief kidney... Yeah, but it's losing to a coin of comparable aesthetic value -- the George and dragon design is also one of my favorites, and that half sov is just as much a piece of pocket sculpture. Seriously, if I'd cast a vote for one, I'd be coming back every other day to change it. I know when I'm beat.
