bill
I recently acquired a gold-plated so-called dollar from the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition, Hibler and Kappen 326. It is a good example of a great photography challenge. The detail is not that great and there is a lot of relief and fine letter detail on the reverse. The image here is my first effort, it is not a definitive effort. Anyone else have this medal and care to compare images?
thedeadpoint
What about a composite picture?
hiho
I think your photos turned out pretty good Bill. Well lit with good details.
bill
I'd like to bring out more of the lettering as it crosses the peaks and valleys of the relief. I've been working on a book manuscript for the past month and I haven't been playing with photography. When I get caught up on my writing, I'll break out the imaging again.
