constanius Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 I love the Richard III , lived in York for 6 years and Tudor propaganda & Shakespeare's play does not count for much(historically) in those parts. I see they located Bosworth Field(by finding the mire that Richard's horse became stuck in) & the hill where that Welsh upstart Henry was crowned, it was already called Crown Hill which made it easier but it matched the description exactly. The rush to be crowned was so that all that fought on the King Richard's side could be condemned as traitors for fighting against 'King' Henry.
