Here's a few: see323 has already posted some of the nicest Singapore bird notes as well as the Japanese yen.

boydle
A ducat defecating donkey: This is the highest denomination of a set of notes, in the original wrapper that were sold by the city of Paderborn in Germany. They must have liked this image a lot, there are 4 variations, 2 by color black or brown printing and the other 2 are a different picture on the reverse. http://germannotgeld.com/Paderborn%20Stadt%20Set%201.html http://germannotgeld.com/Paderborn%20Stadt%20Set%202.html http://germannotgeld.com/Paderborn%20Stadt%20Set%203.html http://germannotgeld.com/Paderborn%20Stadt%20Set%204.html

MMMM
It is enough interesting idea about collecting notes from animal. I just start collector and may be I try to collect this. Nice banknotes. Thank for sharing. I have a little over 2000 notes with animals on them. My favorite ones have the animal as the main focus. If possible try to like to collect the “series” from the same year and with the same signature and if really lucky the same serial number. There are a lot more banknotes that have an animal as part of the background. I also like to see how many different kinds of animals I can find. Some are really hard to find, such as pigs and domestic cats.
