This banknote was issued to commemorate the 1700th anniversary of Armenia's main religion, Christianity. On the obverse is the Echmiadzine Cathedral, and on the reverse is King Tertat and St. Gregory "The Illuminator". This is a truly awesome modern note with cool security features such as a hologram security strip and and the "Celebration Seal".

And now.... here is the banknote that came in first for Pre-1961!!! Here is none other than....

With globes and books, this whole series of banknotes was seemingly issued to be a beautiful commemorative to academics and learning. Featured along with the detailed and amazing engravings is František Palacký, a Czech politician. A master of 11 different languages and an avid historian, he goes well with the theme of this banknote.

Please vote on your favorite banknote... the winner is the most popular banknote of Season Three!!!!
