ikaros
I thought they stopped releasing Presidential dollars into circulation after Hayes and reserved them for the collectors market. I could be wrong...
thedeadpoint
I have zero clue. I haven't been collecting from circulation in years
Steve D'Ippolito
WOULD you believe...about four months ago...a 1909 cent? (No VDB, no S, but still....!) 😮 I told people at one of the local clubs that the small earthquake at about 20 minutes of 8 the prior Thursday was caused by my jaw hitting the floor. That opens up way too many cans of different possible worms....let's just leave the reference to hockey. And speaking of Canadians...I got a nice 1979 Canadian cent today in change. Steve D'Ippolito
I showed a friend of mine the 1909 cent and he launched off on a tirade about how he never finds stuff like that. The very next day he found a very, very worn 1924 dime on the sidewalk. I tell people this now at club meetings and tell them if the want to rant and rave at me about how they never find cool stuff, I am here to serve. Art1.2
I have not found anything worth mentioning in so very long. Maybe soon.
SMS
Just pulled an impaired DCAM Bicentennial Kennedy (clad) proof from a roll last night. It took my daughters a few minutes to figure out what was so special about it. They didn't know such things could end up in circulation. (dons his best perfectly innocent look) 😈 (rats, didn't work again) 'Lucky Pierre', for the record, is the perfectly innocent nickname I gave the vending machine in the break room that has so far delivered two impaired proof SHQs and two 90% silver quarters. Because it has been lucky. For me. I can't help what other people think about... 🙄
ikaros
Gold-plated 2005P West Virginia SHQ... in a roll of dollar coins. Has no one else found anything since September 2018?
Mark Stilson
Hi, Ikaros, I can add my find of a 1961 Roosevelt dime in pocket change last week.

Art1.2
Don’t find much silver floating around these days. Great find.
ikaros
Having been mostly working from home for the last year and a half, I don't make many cash purchases these days. So I was delighted when a vending machine spit out a Washington Crossing the Delaware quarter... and after 20-some years of not having the date on the obverse, seeing 2021 under George's bust looked *weird*...
