Hmm, I prefer the metallic version. :ninja: That tree design is even older, by the way - it was also used on the 10 markkaa coins between '52 and '62 ...

According to Talvio's book (The Coins and Banknotes of Finland: Bank of Finland 2003) the inspiration came from the National Romantic aesthetics. Not the exact tree, but an example. Note the similar craggy branches: LINK
