Art Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 It depends on the type of "green gunk". If it's like sticky crud stuff or early PVC damage then you can probably remove it with acetone. If it's verdigris acetone won't help much. For verdigris you'll have to do a more detailed "conserving" process. There's a product that some people use to clean coppers called ... Never mind.
