Nice medals Cliff. I have a number of Gallery Mint items in my collection but don't have photos of them available right now.

There are a few good web sites describing the Gallery Mint issues. Here is a web site that shows just about all the Gallery Mint announcements and newsletters:

http://gmm.cdbpdx.com/news/

Another useful site is the Ron Landis Workbench Scrapbook:

Here is my web page for the Gallery Mint annual medals made 1993-1995:

http://gmmannualmedals.cdbpdx.com/

This web site shows part of my collection of Gallery Mint 1796 $1 reproductions with varieties:

There are other web sites that mention Gallery Mint issues, but usually just as a side note to some broader discussion.

It is nice to see this thread continuing. I have been absent for some time. I spent the last year designing and producing the TAMS Guide to U. S. Shell Cards by Q. David Bowers, editing the TAMS Journal, and serving as president of TAMS. I should also mention daycare for my grandson. One day I will get caught up!

Love these medals and have quite a few different years. I particularly like the 1987 because I was born near Stone Mountain and I have a relative that works at the BEP. I see in this thread it is listed at a mintage of only 150, is that just for the small bronze? I have the silver one, the large bronze and the "award" style as well. I am a complete nerd, but I love history. I would like to know who designed them, mintage and which mint actually produced them. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

I know this is an older post, but would you happen to own the silver issue, as well? In either case, would you be up to parting ways with the potential set? I’m an avid Colorado collector so it would have a good home. Regardless, beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing!
