Bluesfil
These are interesting - Gambling tokens from England - when the Guinea was discontinued as coinage the gamblers in the private gaming clubs insisted that their wagering was still conducted with guineas and the clubs were forced to provide tokens in different metals that were images of the real coins This one is a Gilt/ gold coloured token and would have equated to a Guinea Obverse Reverse
Bluesfil
This is a copper gambling token with the same design - would have been a "chip" for a lesser amount Obverse Reverse
YeOldeCollector
I have several of these tokens, some read ''In memory of the good old days". So that fits in with the background, the amount of people that insist they are real and solid gold... Good ol' eBay! Nice foreigns though, I especially like the Panama coin

Bluesfil
This one has an absolute pearler on the obverse right across the top of the Kings head. Like all die clashes it is notoriously difficult to get them to scan well so I have scanned it as normal and then on one of teh detailed shots have altered teh brightness and the contrast to show the clash. Obverse Detail as normal Detail with brightness and contrast increased Obverse
