It were 1943 Lincolns + 2 Francs from Belgium + a kind of war-propaganda-picture, that fits into a plastic coinflip (4x2). Well, I bought a lot of those, so I would be sure to have a complete set of pictures. Now I have a lot of Lincolns laying around, which are all circulated. My question is now: Is there anything special to look for in them? I've checked coppercoins, but don't find to many of varieties for that one, especially cos they are all Phili's. (quite normal, since the Belgian coins where minted there too) I will try to make some pictures of these sets later today. If anyone has more information on those, it's more than welcome. It would fit nicely in this scheme. Commercialising these is not easy. So you'd better make them look as shiny as you can. It has a very 'homemade' feel. I remember when I first started collecting and came upon a Littleton catalogue (a mail-order coin dealer that has lots of novel coins, the basics, and maybe a few nice things), I saw some shiny and lusterous steelies they were selling and just had to have them. Ah, ok. These have a bit of a sheen on them, oh well. I only paid about a dollar each for them 10 years ago when I was into collecting. I like them more as curiosities than as "value pieces" anyway.
