The coin I posted a link to is dated just a different way of tracking the date. For those who haven't looked back thru the entire post for awhile I suggest doing it. I just did and it was neat. Now we are almost to the 1500's. ) Right, I recognize that 1514 is specific to a certain calendar system, I just couldn't name it - Gregorian or Cesarian or Julian or something. I guess that should still count unless we are sticklers it is still dated. You know once we make the 1609 point that will be 400 years of coins. Took us 2 years but a wild accomplishment. Rev.: HI[sPANIARVM · REX · 160]2 , around crowned lion to left. Cayon - (cf. p. 568, 4000 ff) . Felipe III, ceca de Burgos, 1603 AD., Æ 2 Maravedis (15-16 mm / 1,81 g), Obv.: [PHILIPP]VS III D G , rodeando a un circulo que contiene un castillo entre ceca, B y valor II.
