1943 cent, miserable rusted out condition, a 1962 12 sided Canadian nickel, a Thai Baht - not sure of the year, and assorted other junky Canadian coins.

Love the new avatar and description. ????

Another 2013P Perry Monument AtB quarter from Lucky Pierre, alongside two bicentennial quarters.

I've gotten in the habit of tossing all the bicentennial quarters that I get into my nickel jar. I don't get very many.

This is a fun post to see. I thought I would give it a look.

What are the chances that next time I go to the store I am going to take a swipe in that bin? My luck,,, there will a line...

However, I promise not to post unless I find a 14-D or something like that. In fact, I got a 1916 P penny a few weeks ago in change. Please nobody post a 39 Jeff, the room will laugh. I will assume that it is mostly foreign stuff. So I won't get my hopes up.

Several of my prior "good producers" have gone dry, though yesterday at a supermarket south of Downtown Houston I got a nearly mint state 2012 South Korea 10 won , and a handfull of regular small US change, and one carwash token... Not earth shaking but my first find of anything in while.

"25 cents 1973 - Royal Canadian Mounted Police"

was this the Small bust or the Large bust 25c for 1973?

In 1973 a more detailed, smaller and finer design bust was used for the queen, the difference is mainly in the hair when compared to a Pre 1973 25c. The scarce Large Bust 25c has the image of the queen that was used on the 1972 and prior 25c.

The "mule" large bust coins were in circulation as well as the same mistake happened with the proof sets.

The Large bust bust 1973 can be worth $25 in average circulated condition and up.

I found only one LB 1973 in circulation after 20+ years of looking, and managed to buy a few of the proof sets along the way, but not as fun as finding one in the wild.

Kyle.
