invdot.gifThis is the famous 1955 Doubled (Double) Die Lincoln Wheat Cent. A Doubled Die coin is created when the hub that is used to make the individual dies is misaligned during one of the impression onto one of the dies. Wow,Congrats!

My grandson found a 55 in a ditch about a month ago,Since I got into cherrypicking he looks everywhere too.....LoL (eye's like a hawk) but it's so grimy you can't see much of anything!
