continuous `time out' message

In the past i've often experienced light difficulty in accessing omnicoin, my attempts `timing out' before obtaining access. Normally trying again or leaving it for a minute or two has enabled access but of late that is just simply not the case.

 

This past week i've given up on a number of occasions because of continuous `timing out'. This morning (10:16 GMT) being the latest such event in the chain. I've been trying on and off for over 2 hrs to access Omnicoin. So far without any joy. Is omnicoin a victim of its own success with access overload through too many people trying to access it at the same time.....or is there something else up?

It's not too many people, it's too many coins in the database. The home page display takes too long to find four random coins. I do plan a major upgrade in the next 1-2 months.

I made some changes to the home page code. It should not be timing out any longer. Please let me know if you encounter any other problems.
