Awesome notes, Baxuss!

I realized that I'm a bit behind schedule with sharing my additions with you guys, so here's a compilation of what arrived on my doormat for the past few weeks:

I also received a large bulk lot which was a lot of fun sorting out!

The two monsters I picked up at Valkenburg. They look simple but they're very rare notes, especially the 50 gulden note.

I also got some modern newer issues as well as these two Georgia notes from the 1995 series:

And this awesome note from Kazakhstan:

Curious to know how much the US note design influenced the Dutch notes.

A lot - they were printed by the American Banknote Company. It's one of their standard style of designs!

Lotus07 - hmm....I didn't know about that show. It's in September so I'm not sure. But if I'm not traveling, sure! Why not! There's a show near Brussels at the end of April - that and the show in Luxembourg will probably be my next two shows.

If the image is your note, do not use the identification in your

link. The link points to a miss identified note. It is a 13d.1 not a 13c as it shows on the site. It is a about 50 dollar note uncirculated.

See the following for better identification:

Here are pictures of the notes that I most recently purchased. I'm especially very happy about the Falklands note, these are pretty hard to find so when I saw this one advertised for a relatively low price, I was immediately sold!

What's also curious about this particular note, is that the date on this note is issued one day after the Falklands War ended! So apparently this nice old banknote has some historical significance too!

I also won this nice old Russian obligation on an Ebay auction for just a few US dollars. I don't really collect these, but I do think it has a really nice vintage design and it somewhat resembles a banknote!
