rbethea
Hi Baxuss - I just returned from Scotland and can add a few notes to those pictures...here's the current issues from Bank of Scotland and the Clydesdale Bank, which I picked up while visiting (or ordered in the case of Clydesdale and RBS). The Royal Bank of Scotland notes are yet to arrive.

Art1.2
Very nice notes. I like the designs on the Clydesdale notes better but both sets are terrific.
Lotus07
Wow, I’m really impressed by those Scottish banknotes! I have also acquired some new additions, which you can view below. First of all, I received an envelope from a very kind Canadian collector that included some banknotes we’ve swapped. 1st pic: UAE 5 Dirhams 2011, 50 Dirhams 2009, China 1 Yuan 1999 (I've been after one of these for a while, so I'm very happy I finally got one!) and India 10 Rupees 20112nd pic: Russia 100 Rubles 1997 (2004), Indonesia 1 Sen 1964 (replacement issue), Ethiopia 1 Birr 2006 and 20083rd pic: Ethiopia 5 Birr 2013, 10 Birr 2006 and 2008 and Lebanon 1 Livre 19684th/5th pic: Tunisia 1 Dinar 1965 (very worn, but also very well designed!) Also received this nice 10,000 Drachmes note from a Greek Ebay seller for just 9 USD! And lastly, I picked this nice xf 10 Euro banknote from circulation. I thought I'd better get hold of one of these while I still can, since they are starting to dissappear quickly from circulation!(for the euro enthusiasts, it's a German one btw) Regards, Lotus07
rbethea
Here's my latest pickups. I'm very excited about them. I posted the Clydesdale and Bank of Scotland sets above. The Royal Bank of Scotland just arrived today and here they are:
rbethea
...continuing from previous...and the 100 pound note: And, among many others I got this weekend (on a trip to Denmark, picked up UNC of the latest sigs from Denmark and the new series out of Sweden), are these rare uniface notes from Greenland. Not to be confused with similar notes and the black stamp at left. These embossed notes, especially the 1 and 5 skilling notes are very, very tough to find, especially in UNC. thedeadpoint
What does "plc" stand for in "Bank of Scotland plc"?

rbethea
I think it stands for public limited company. As I understand it, it's the UK's version of an LLC.
Lotus07
Yay, more banknotes arrived! From Argentina I received these worn, but still lovely notes: And lastly, from (East-)Germany I got these awesome GDR banknotes.
Art1.2
Very nice additions to your collection. I like used notes, in most cases better than crisp new ones.
Lotus07
Very nice additions to your collection. I like used notes, in most cases better than crisp new ones. I agree. When you get a very dirty, wrinkled and torn banknote like one of the above in your hands, it really gives you the feeling that what you're holding is genuinely used as currency. thedeadpoint
Very nice. What year are those?
