  9. hello max welcome to coinpeople, i started collecting coins when i was eight, the coin you mentioned, is it silver if not it is most certainly a halpenny.
  10. it is an ottoman coin counterstamped for emergency use in arabia following it's liberation from the ottoman empire in WW1
  11. being 1917 it is pre mussolini as he came to power in the 20's but still used victor emanuelle on the obverse of the coins for quite a while. early 20th century italian coins can be stunning.
  12. the george V coin looks like it has been etched with a masonic symbol at some time,the ethiopean coin looks like a 1 birr. with the bust of emporer menalek on the obverse.
  13. they are worth around £230, i have at least one from each reign and type since 1819.
  14. i have the same coin from the same year, i must admit they are quite scarce as i have not seen another until now.
  15. in that condition with a piercing i would value it at £200 max
